My Favourite Things about Shrek
- I love the original story. I love the humour and how they included familiar characters such as Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Ginger Bread Man and more!
- I love the characters. Donkey is my favourite but I love them all. The introduction of Puss in Boots was amazing!

Character Profiles
Shrek
Shrek is a stubborn anrgy orge who wants to left alone. He lives alone until he meets Donkey who opens up a world he thought he knew, but did not.
Donkey
Donkey is the best friend of Shrek. He is funny gullable and always has something to talk about! His friendship with Shrek takes him on an adventure of a lifetime. "Shrek and Donkey in another world full of adventure".
Princess Fiona
Princess Fiona is a princess who transforms into an orge at night. She is locked away in a castle and rescued by Shrek and Donkey but she turns out to be an unconventional princess with interesting skills.
Puss in Boots
He is introduced in the second film with the initial goal of getting rid of Shrek. He eventually becomes part of the gang and the best friends of Shrek and Donkey.
Lord Farquaad
He is the king of Duloc and lives in a castle. He wants to marry Princess Fiona and he forces Shrek to rescue her for him in return for his swamp.
Pinocchio
The classic puppet character who has a nose that grows when he lies, joins the gang and helps them throughout the franchise.
Gingerbread Man
He is a live talking gingerbread man and one of Shrek's friends. He is also known as "Gingy" and was created by The Muffin Man.
Queen Lillian
She is the mother of Fiona and the wife of King Harold. She is a caring person who is always open to giving advice to Shrek and Fiona.
King Harold
He is the father of Fiona and husband of Queen Lillian. He is a worrisome character who really cares for his daughter.
Fairy Godmother
She is the mother of Prince Charming. She had a deal with King Harold that her son would marry Princess Fiona. But when she finds out Princess Fiona is with Shrek, she cultivates a plan to make her son be with Fiona.
Prince Charming
He is the classical Prince Charming character in tales gone by. He and his mother derive a plan to make Princess Fiona his new wife.
Rumpelstiltskin
He is the villain in the final shrek film. His promise to give Shrek his wish to relive the good old times for just one day, completely changes Shrek's life for the worst. Shrek must restore the love of Fiona and reverse Rumpelstiltskin's spell.
